Thank you, ladies. I love the idea of a secret. I love it when the Bible talks about Mary, the mother of Jesus, hiding things in her heart. A woman's heart is a deep and beautiful place and I love the idea that there are things I can keep just for myself...at least for a little while. :)
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.

ReplyDeleteThere is something about the crescent moon, I agree. I also, like the idea of Mary holding special things close to her heart.
ReplyDeletei love this, something incomplete about the crescent moon that makes us wonder about its secret and our secrets. hope everthing is well with you.
