I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.

whispers in the dark - those (softspoken) breaths seldom heard or imagined, while fleetly passing under the night sky.
ReplyDeleteyou have captured the subtle magic that happens on the edge, where light and darkness meet - i have enjoyed your marriage of photo and haiku.
beautiful...enchanting, lovely lovely son :)
ReplyDeleteI like the interaction of images in the haiku.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful combination of words & photo. There is something about monochrome that adds that extra dimension to a photo...
