No, I'm not currently expecting. This photo was taken when I was pregnant with my daughter over three years ago. I do have babies on the brain, though, so when looking through some of these old photographs, I was inspired. :)
Margie, thanks to you also. You will be missed, but I understand completely. I have taken breaks before and there is something to be said for it! I called it a "technology fast" when I did it and it was good for my mind and my soul. Much love to you...God bless!
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.
