- Kristin Riggs
- I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer,and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this. This is dedicated to my beautiful immediate and extended family-especially my mama, who makes the best sweet tea in the South and passed on the secret to me. :)
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who don't know, sweet tea is VERY important to us. It is the "house wine of the South". :)
On this Thanksgiving Day, I am immensely thankful for my family and friends, my health, my job...and most of all for the grace and love given to me by my savior Jesus Christ. To have his unmerited favor is the greatest blessing of all. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, dear friends. God bless.
