Oh, Devika...that is so sweet. I would love to think that I could hold stars captive, but I think I had it right the first time! :) You are very kind to say that, though. Thank you so much!!!
Lovely Taiga Kristin, hmm no offence but I think Devika had a point, maybe it should have stayed a Haiga, I do not know. As a photo interested person I would have like a slightly bigger picture when I click on the photo, maybe you could.... Nevertheless a fine contribution Kristin, dont doubt that :)
Ashi...no offense taken! I always appreciate suggestions and ideas. I can see what you mean...I just had one of those stubborn writing moments!!! I was determined to use the word captive Orion being a hunter...maybe I should have let that go. Stubborness and writing don't go well together, huh? ha ha. I'll work at the picture thing...still not too sure what I'm doing there! :) Have a wonderful week.
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.
