Never had to see a love letter of my grand parents or my parents.....but they still live on in me :)
btw, just to share the way it used to among the older here...my grandmother had said she saw the face of my grandfather only on the second day after marraige...and it was absolutely fine to be so...strange ways :)
it's beautiful and I felt the way you did.. and my comment did not appear...same thing happened to me, found a 1944 letter from my dad to his fiançee, my mom...how strange that my comment did not appear
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.
