I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.

Ever and often, I stumble into my minds covert rooms, so cluttered with those dusty, unused thoughts.

Thank you all so much. :) Bill...terrific haiku! I love the little gifts you leave in my comments. They make my day!
ReplyDeleteWell said Kristin - we all have buried places in our mind that need visiting now and then.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what memories a song will bring back. Very poetically expressed and so true.
