So, with four posts today, there is obviously no writer's block here tonight (thankfully). Something about the upcoming change of season has my mind overflowing!
This was also taken from my backyard just as the sun was going down. I thought it was awe-inspiring. How can this moon, whom I've written about SO many times, suprise me yet again??? :)
Thanks to you all for your kind words. There is something magical about sharing these thoughts and images and knowing that others have a reaction to them...brings a smile this Wednesday morning. :)
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.
