promises of old, in search
of present comfort-
a falling star catches
my eye...

- I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer,and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. ReplyDelete& i just read in newspaper of the Perseids meteor shower between August 8 and 14...and last night around 1- 1.30 i saw those streaks of light like little stars...there were so many..and was wondering if my vision had some defect..
You too saw it? It was indeed a delight to see...the report says it will be visible only in Northern hemisphere

Beautiful!! When I was a teenager , s friend of mine and me would lay her driveway and watch for falling stars. They are so fascinating!
