My daughter and I went on a mini-road trip today to enjoy the beautiful weather and each other. We are very blessed here in Arkansas with some amazing state parks! I took this while we were there today.
Man is searching for meaning, though he will never come to an end: either God exists or not. This positive thinking is an everyday-and-everywhere-miracle. I like the straightforwardness in your verse and in your picture.
Very beautiful Kristin!! I have always wondered how anyone could just walk outside and look around and then not believe in God. I am amazed everyday at the beauty HE creates for us. You said it so well:) I admire how you portray your strong faith:)
I have had a passion for the written word, especially poetry, from an early age. I am first and foremost a child of God-a thankful recipient of His grace. I am also a mother, a teacher, a singer, and an overall music lover. I call the beautiful southern United States home, and growing up and raising my family here has shaped who I am in many ways. I believe that life- with its various emotions, experiences, trials, and joys-is a gift from my Heavenly Father. As a poet, I hope that my work expresses this.
"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." -Psalm 62:1
Some of my poetry has been published in the online journals Simply Haiku and Notes from the Gean.
